How I did it: once I found out that my parents were moving, I figured that was motivation enough to clean my damn closet. I couldn't take it to college with me, and I didn't want them to have to store 21 years of my crap in their new, smaller house. Thus, I cleaned. It was therapeutic, but at the same time depressing, because I knew it was a step towards never seeing the house that I spent most of my adolescence in ever again, and my parents being 5 hours away from me instead of one hour.
