How to create DIY clothing

How I did it: ]I've done this a bunch. It's really not that hard. If there's something you wanna make and you need help, search the internet or take some sewing lessons. Buy some DIY books and get inspired from those. If there's a certain look you are going for, research those and make a look book, then add notes to the garments you know you can modify.
Lessons & tips: Once you complete a project and begin wearing it you feel really confident in your dressmaking skills, especially when people ask you where they can get one of those :

stencils
scissors
buttons, trinkets, ect.
