How I did it: I sent a message out into cyberspace and waited for two years until a Mexican American read my post and offered to sell me an old Cajun print signed by George Rodrigue. I did my homework once an offer came through and didn't pay for the print until I had it in my hands safely. In the meantime, I feel like I made a friend in Mexico!
Lessons & tips: PayPal is great for sending money from one country to another. Also Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google are great tools for making sure someone is really who they say they are.
