How I did it: We have long planned to get married. However, with my then-fiance's mother being home for 2 months, we decided that we might as well prepare for our wedding.
I didn't have a wedding coordinator that's why I had to do almost everything by myself. Good thing I have my family and some friends to help me.
Lessons & tips: Be more particular about the budget. It kind of hurt me in the end. Also, please request for cash gifts. We got mostly junk gifts.
