How I did it: I went to donate blood at the German Red Cross. Three weeks later I got a letter with my blood type ^^

Just find a date that is convient for you and do it. It was not as bad as I imagined. Felt a little shaky afterwards, but hey, it was definitely worth it! Plus, the best of all: you don't have to pay anything ^^

Lessons & tips: Just look up the next blood-donation date on the Red Cross website and do it.
