How to learn how to use photoshop
How I did it: I took a Photoshop/Illustrator Intensive course at my fashion design school. I had already taken courses previously at a Photography course and at the Apple Store in Chicago, but those were limited in what I learned. I had already learned how to tweak photos to make them look better, but I wanted to learn more advanced techniques.
The fashion design Photoshop/Illustrator course taught me how to use Photoshop to create mood boards, patterns/prints/motifs, and how to create fashion designs with prints on the actual clothes. I also learned how to easily change all the colorways for prints. It is everything I need for this purpose.
I will most definitely continue learning as the need arises in the future!
Lessons & tips: Taking a credit class will teach you a lot more than a non-credit course (but also will be more intense). For those of you who have a hard time getting motivated to read through an instruction manual, this could be an option.
