How to establish a better sleep routine

How I did it: I slept in the spare room, directly next to the window. I go to bed whenever I'm tired and wake up to the sun shining.
I'm so much happier.
A warm drink before bed isn't unwelcome either.
And many 'experts' say visual stimulation is not good, however I find it perfect.
I watch something light, like a sitcom and a quick game on the DS and I'm sleeping like a baby.
Lessons & tips: Chill out and sleep early, use sleeping pills or relaxing drinks if needed. Hot chocolate, horlicks, whatever floats your boat.
Don't close the curtains, unless it's necessary. Let the sunshine wake you up.
