How to get straight A's

How I did it: I constantly reminded myself of this goal and never lost sight of the end result. When things were tough and I was ready to just settle for a B or a C, I kept reminding myself of how nice it would be to say I finished with a 4.0 (I'm actually finishing with a 3.6). The good thing about this goal is, even though I didn't reach it perfectly, I am still incredibly proud of myself.
