How I did it: We did Atkins diet and added some exercise. It was that straightforward.
This required dropping of carbs down to a bare minimum. We already at meat at every meal ,so that wasn't an extra challenge.
What we added was salads. Mostly the benefit long term from this was dropping the eating of bread almost entirely from our diets. To this day I still eat less bread than every.
Lessons & tips: Doing Atkins is not the solution long term. It really was more about adding the exercise.
