How to go to a real chinese wedding
How I did it: While visiting china, my husband and I had planned to renew our vows with a simple dinner since his family hadn't been able to attend our original white wedding in canada. His family organized everything and once we got there, we discovered that it wasn't just a simple dinner with a cocktail dress...but a traditional wedding!
We were both shocked. Neither of us expected this and to be honest, we did even mentioned them we did not want to do a traditional wedding.. Nevertheless, it turned out to be quite an experience. Cutural shock yes, but quite interesting.
Lessons & tips: For the real thing, get advice from chinese friends.
Get informed about what you will have to do, or say. What EXACTLY will happen. There are different variations and you might not be at ease with everything you might have to do.
