How to adopt two cats

well done :)

I’m sure you’ll be very happy, they sound fabulous. Also, you’re very right about not adopting baby animals – the focus always seems to be on puppies/kittens, older animals have so much to give and are usually house trained and calmer.

We adopted two ex-racing greyhounds and one of them had been at the rescue kennels for nearly a year, he kept being overlooked, I don’t know why, he’s the sweetest, most affectionate dog I’ve ever known.

Some people think it’s very virtuous to adopt a rescue animal, and whilst it is, the benefits don’t just go one way – the commitment you make is repaid many times over by the joy your pet(s) bring you.

jellybelly I don't do anything by halves!

Older pets

are fab! I got my kitty from a rescue centre when he was eight years old. I was concerned initially about his age as he was already considered a senior but we are about to celebrate 5 happy years together! May we have many, many more!
