How to visit Washington DC
How I did it: I went with a a group of people that I go to school with. In nursing school, as part of our community rotation, we had the option of going to Washington D.C. We visited the memorials, The White House, the Capitol, the Smithsonian and the awesomest place of all, Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Lessons & tips: The Metro is a great way to get around. Fast, easy and safe.
