How to mcts
How I did it: Just 2 months of preparation (each day 2 hrs ) enough.
Study basic concepts using microsoft site ,and look through each topic in the syllabus to check if you have missed anything..includes table design , constraints stuff, triggers, new features in 2005 , backup , restore options, database high availability concepts, databae mirroring ,
resource usage in the system.

Resources: I used the book "MCTS Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Implementation and Maintenance" by Author "Joseph L.Jorden and Dandy Weyn" .Basic concepts are explained well in this book.
For practice of test , use measureup.com , the sample test in the site was good.
