How I did it: Took a class in Finance. I also just read widely on the topic. Read articles and books. I will continue to read on finance. Economics book helps also, even though the subject content is different. I did the law of Finance. But and I also did Offshore Finance and International Finance. So you can say that I am a Finance Lawyer.
