“I’m a high school student in Queensland still finding out about the world (and getting scared by the responsibilities). I’m looking forward to getting out there and exploring the world for myself with my language skills and possibly a bit of speech pathology on the side.

It seems like there’s a social barrier stopping me from doing some of the more “crazy” things on my list (like going on a random road trip) as most people like to be prepared earlier. Also, although noone ever says it out loud, there is just some ways you are expected to behave and although I wouldn’t like to commit to that, I still feel pressured about them.

I also made a list on my sixteenth birthday of things to do before I died with one for each year that I’ve been alive. I’ll try to accomplish at least one or two a year but at the moment, I think I’ll end up waiting till the end of school before I try some of them.

I love spontaneous things like going for ice cream just because you can. But, without a licence at the moment…it’s a little hard and no one ever wants to drive you. :D

I really want to contribe to society somehow…not sure how yet. Maybe translating an ancient language so we can find out about a fascinating culture or something…
