| About me: | Randy Altschuler is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of CloudBlue, a leading provider of services that maximize the economic and environmental sustainability of electronic assets. CloudBlue is responsible for asset recycling, risk management, data security, logistics and consulting services. It has 10 facilities across the United States. Randy Altschuler is recognized as a pioneer who, in his first entrepreneurial venture, was a founder of OfficeTiger, a company which created thousands of back-office jobs. Randy grew OfficeTiger from inception in 2000 to a business of over 4,000 people prior to its acquisition by RR Donnelley (NYSE:RRD) in April of 2006. Randy was selected by Institutional Investor as one of the top influencers in the finance industry and was named a winner in the New York Top Ten Awards by the Executive Council of New York. Prior to co-founding OfficeTiger, Altschuler worked in private equity at The Blackstone Group and as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. He utilized his international business expertise when he served as an assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank North America, focusing on both strategic and management issues. Altschuler graduated from Princeton University with High Honors and received an MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School. He studied in Vienna, Austria as a Fulbright Scholar. Randy Altschuler is married to Cheryl Sladkin Altschuler, MD, a pediatrician and classmate from Princeton, where they met. They have a young son, Noah and reside in Lake Grove, New York. |
