How I did it: Well over the years I just had to admit to myself that the reason I eat out so much is that i HATE cooking. Or more accurately, i hate planning food, shopping for food preparing food, making new things, making things interesting. Im also usually tired and hungry when i start to think about it and take away seems like a good option. Here is what i do now:plan for the week ahead3 x vegeatrian2 x fish1 x red meat1 x whatever night the w… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took the role of manager at Helly Hansen and decided I wanted to be better than the person before me. To improve the store in the year i was in charge. I wanted to impress my bosses so i could get a raise/promotion. so for one year i tried really hard, hired new staff, did lots of training with them, got in new stock, created a new layout of the store then watched as my hard work paid off. At my 12 month review i was acknowledged for my… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I looked at a lot of options to do my degree. I had booked into going to the unis open days and had the courses planned out that I wanted to look at. One day someone suggested I try online uni. So I looked into the website and found out all i could about it. I called the support team and asked questions, I had a friend who had done a year and asked her things too. Then, I called back the support team and they helped me pick my degree, sub… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I looked at websites about cheap date ideas, summer activities and I used my imagination. I wrote a list of things that I would like to do - and I am still adding to it.I found a great website for melbourne that tells you all the things to do here. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had an abnormal pap smear so my GP advised me to get a colposcopy. She made the appointment for me at the hospital and then the waiting began. I had an appointment in 3 months time. For 3 months I went out of my mind, thinking the worst then researching the possible outcomes to reassure me it wont be too bad. The last week I could do nothing but think about it. Finally the day arrived, my appointment was for 9am but I was seen just befo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went through the whole house and car and gathered all of the strewn about pieces of paper that demanded money. I then ordered them in chronological order of which is due first.I found that some were overdue, some due in this pay cycle and some due in the next pay cycle.I took the biggest hit on that 1st day and paid all that were over due and all that were due in that pay cycle, but also put away half the money for each bill due in… Read how I did it…
How I did it: At first I made it clear that I was looking for another position. I was,in fact, wanting to leave the company for a job elsewhere. I don't recommend letting people know you don't want to work there anymore and I was at a point where I was so bored with my job I didn't care if I got fired or not. Finally, my boss asked me to look at a contract for a promotion to manager and explained that there were further jobs I might fit into after that.… Read how I did it…
How I did it: so I wanted to have a party with my friends and also a little getaway with my husband to contemplate life. How I did it: had been in all kinds of relationships before i met the one and subconciously after each relationship ended i was adding to list of things i wanted and things i didnt want in a mate. Some things on the list were very shallow. I was narrowing my search down after each experience until i found myself in a very abusive relationship somehow! After that relationship, all i had on my list was a man with a kind heart. My only deal breaker … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started by finding a book on the shelf that I had not read and took it on the train with me one day. When you are carrying a book with you it is easy to find small spaces to read like waiting for your train to arrive, travelling to and from work, in your lunch break and laying in bed reading rather than flicking through channels on the T.V. On an average day now I read for about an hour all up. When split into 10 or 20 min intervals thr… Read how I did it…
How I did it: A neighbours cat would visit us every now and then. The neighbour is a bit neglectful of the cat adn doesnt care what he does :( So we started feeding him and he came over more regularly. We give him a warm place to sleep at night (because the neighbour kicks him out at night). So now he comes over at about 6pm for dinner, stays till 9ish, leaves for a toilet break and most likely more dinners elsewhere, then comes to bed at around 11pm. … Read how I did it…
