How I did it: I had been thinking of buying a Moleskine for some time, and was even more intrigued when I found out about the Moleskine City notebooks. At Powell's, I found "used" (still shrink-wrapped but slightly banged up) Moleskine City notebooks for both Seattle and D.C.
