That’s the best word for how I feel about these cards and the entire book. I have drawn a few of the cards so far on 3×5 index cards with oil pastels. I haven’t drawn really since I was a little girl, especially not with oil pastels. They probably are from an art kid I had when I was 8. :) I have double backed the cards for appearance and strength and covered them in plastic. I also just finished sewing a bag for both the book and the cards once they are done so they are organized and protected. Yeah. I really want to read my cards and would keep working on drawing more but I have “real” work to do. I am glad that I have regained my craftiness.

I ordered these cards and book online but didn’t read the fine print and the cards weren’t included!! I was so pissed. I looked again and since the book is out of print the only way to get the cards is to pay about $75 for a brand new collector’s set. sigh. so i am going to make my own. The book has small black and white picutres of each one with a description. I feel like I make my own then I will have a deeper connection with the cards anyway. I actually haven’t ever really read my cards or had my cards read. Jumping in without really knowing where I am going but it looks like a great healing tool. We’ll see how this goes.
