Encourage my son in his studies.

he will maybe be going to Uni soon enough

Bought him chocolate egg in a cup for getting a good school report even thought he is 17

He spends a lot of time in his room – it is not too messy but not tidy – I sometimes straighten it up a bit – but have asked him to see if he could do it himself.

I have mentioned it a few times and he just says “I will do it” and then I read something on 43 things about someone finding it hard to tidy up and throw things out because they had “issues” about something.

He was getting some fruit out of the fridge and I said “do you have any issues you would like to chat about – Hime and his dad started laughing – he sat down and said “She had a pony?” and they laughed

I can now hear him tidying his room!!

Thinking of encouraging him – thats all I can do at the moment

Strange – just thinking of this or putting it down as a goal

today – he came and did some work down stairs – and sat with us for a while.
