pay off my credit card debt

...5 months ago i was down to $950!...but sadly…my debt has piled up and i’m currently at $4,000 now…omg!!!...i’ve really got to get serious about completing this goal and becoming smarter with my money especially when the economy is currently the way it is…eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!

i dunno what happened but i looked at my bill and i charged an additional $400 to my credit card last month…!!!!!!...sigh…well, the good thing is…i start my job today so i will finally be able to mark this goal done soon =)

...usually i overanalyze my choices waaay too much to the point where i end up not doing anything at all…sooo, i don’t know what pushed me to do it but i did…i called up CITI and demanded a lower APR…at first, the rep told me he could only reduce it down to 14% and i was like ‘whaaaaat, only 14%!!!’ then i told him how i was just going to cancel them and transfer my balance over to American Express instead since they can give me 5% then that’s when the rep said…’hold on one minute and let me connect you with a specialist’...crazy right? so then the specialist gave me some different options…i kept sounding unsure until she presented the third option…2% APR for 3 months then 4.9% until my current balance is fully paid off then back to 14% which i thought wasn’t too bad because after i pay off my credit card i only plan to use my card when i know i can pay it off in full…soooooo yeah …woo hoo me!!!
