I ran the Goofy Challenge in 2008. It was a great time, went more for fun than a PR. Took alot of pictures and really enjoyed running at sea-level. The humidity was something new for me. The humidity during the marathon was much higher.
Have fun, pace yourself, practice running with a camera and doing back to back longer runs. Don’t look to PR on the half, it could really make the marathon the next day painful. I would do this race again.
