I think the only way a person like myself can be punctual is to learn it. I am trying to train myself to manage time better. There are certain things that are unavoidable, though. Like trying to make a four year old who would much rather be sleeping get up, get dressed, etc. or the big semis that get in front of you on a double yellow when before that you were doing just fine. Trying to leave the house ten minutes earlier than usual. Trying being the operative word here. Going to bed earlier is NOT working! I am a night owl and other than prescription medication, nothing will change that. As you can see, I am experimenting with different things. As to what will work, we’ll see! Good luck to all of you. So far, no good. I am doing better at this, I guess. But still am not arriving to work five minutes early like I would like to.
Chronically late? I was born late! No matter what I do, it seems like I always get where I’m going about 5-10 minutes after I’m supposed to be there. I have 3 alarm clocks, and they are all set to different times 15 minutes apart. Hello? Not working! Luckily, my job and most of my family are pretty understanding about this. My husband is less so. Think I need to work on this!
