The author lived in close proximity to Hitler’s headquarters and described the lives of the Germans. I gained an interesting perspective of the war from the German’s point of view. I’ve always wondered, “How could the Germans be humans and support such a heinous person?” I think it was their desperate hope that allowed them to be brainwashed. I admit my mind sometimes wandered off because the book was mostly narrating w/o many dialogues or formats that make it easy to skim through. But still found it to be worth the read.

Good, easy, adventurous read! I love the Christian parallels in the book, like Aslan who was always in action for Shasta, even though Shasta wasn’t aware of it at the time. All the terrifying experiences and chases were Aslan. It scared Shasta, but ultimately worked for his good in the end.
Great book. It was hard to plug myself in at first, but was hooked until the last page after about 5 chapters.
The book “No Compromise” is about a man who does NOT compromise!! i mean, WOW. What a transformation that took place in him after he met God. How is that possible? Maybe cuz of his unquenchable thirst for God.
Sweet story on reconciliation. It actually teared me up twice. I loved the anecdote about the eagles, which represented the strong love between couples, maintained with God’s help. Touching.
