Not going very well at all…. I am exercising, but have put on weight :(

Have lost about 1.5kg. Not very motivated, as I’ve been distracted with other life issues. I am trying to eat regular, healthy food, ‘tho.
Trainer at Gym has written a mixed cardio program for me. It incorporates work on the treadmill, grinder, rower, cross trainer and bike.
I’m meant to work out 5-6 days per week for up to an hour, Have done that once this week and also two 45 minute workouts. I found it hard going.
He told me not to worry about my diet, but to focus on the cardio and eating breakfast and at least 2 pieces of fruit a day.
We will review progress in a week and then again, 3 weeks later when we add weights.
I have not lost any weight.
I joined a gym last week. Autumn is here and it will soon be too dark to exercise regularly outside.
The Trainer told me to try to exercise for at least 1 hour 5-7days a week for the first month. We will be reviewing my diet next week and he will write me a diet plan and exercise program.
Saw 2 old girlfriends yesterday, They said that I’m looking slimmer – must be the exercise, because I’ve not lost any weight. Realise that I need to make small and permenant changes, so doing this for now
Will weigh myself tomorrow, 9/3/09. Have not focussed on this too much due to other priorities.
I weigh 71.1 kilos and have started this goal today. I’ve decided to take this one step at a time and this week’s goal is to eat a healthy and nourishing breakfast and drink at least 2 litres of water each day
