whilst working at glastonbury 08 i kept my camera with me. but my hip bag was uncomfortable one evening so i took it off, then later had to run an errand. And in the Green Room Bar, quietly playing a guitar, was MARK CHADWICK lead singer from the LEVELLERS! no time to listen to more than one song.
...and no camera.

getting a small camera worked! i now have too many photos to process! but all the saved memories are priceless. its been lovely. i’m not a mad photographer, but it’s good to have the camera handy. :0)
i’ve decided to get a purse sized digital camera – so i can take it everywhere with me. mine is currently quite large, but fab, but also scary when i point it at people if they dont know me well, or they arent drunk yet! i have fuji S9500, i want a fuji A610 – only 6 mega pixles, not 9, but then i wont want to always leave my best one at home.
...so my new purchase will let me take more pictures.
i’m off to the seaside today! thats a rare occurance considering i’m on the most landlocked county in england. woo hoo! :0)
i was probably the most experienced person with a camera at the reception, and i took lots of candid shots, the typical romantic ones, bawdy drunken group pics and scene settings. i also tried my hand at the classic poses outside the church. yes the hired photographer staged them, but i thought why miss an opportunity?!
