Love without fear

I have learned so much from my current relationship. Mostly about myself but it is truly a “must” for those who want to love without fear. It is absolutely necessary to know your self because you are totally responsible for your reaction to everything and everybody. Me, I am reactionary, so what this means is that I react to my environment and those who exist in it.
So since I am in total control of of choosing whether or not to fear that which presents itself.

Everyday I am feeling better about giving my love with no expectations. This is the only way you can love without fear…..

All of my relationships have always been conditional. At least in retrospect and taking the time to examine them, this is what I come up with. My marriage is probably the only relationship in which I felt like I wasn’t expecting anything in return. I assumed my husband and I would always be together and that we would support each other through and through. When you have kids with someone, there is a bond that you feel will never break. Needless to say I am no longer married and my kids are all almost grown and every relationship I have been in since my divorce was always based on some condition the other person had to meet. It took me a long to realize that the reason you become involved with someone is because you enjoy being around that person, they are teaching you something or they have qualities you lack and wish you had. I know I am not perfect and my S.O. is not perfect but what is most important is that I am in love with all of his imperfections….....
