11) I’m not sure how or even if his clean underwear was put away before we married, but I fold and stack his boxers and socks and for some reasong this gives him a kick.

10) He loves to “get a good deal” and he loves to research how to get the best deal. The good news and the bad news is that he is really good at it. Good because we pretty much always “get a good deal”, bad because we buy more than we really need, just to “get a good deal”. :)
9) Getting a new hard drive. Ya with lots of mega bites and 911 oxford chips… Yup! Makes him happy.
7) He didn’t get one last year and he was happy to get one this year; partially for the money, but mostly for the acknowledgement of the work he is doing. He works very diligently.
Every time I ask my husband what makes him happy, he says sex, and so I say what else, and he says sex in a different position… It’s playful.
So finally today when I ask he says… trying to find 100 things that make a man happy is improbable. There are 2 things that make us happy… sex and food. We are simple creatures that do not need multiple things to make us happy.
We laughed, but when I think about it, there is a piece of truth in this. Finding things that “make him happy” is far more difficult than finding things that make me happy.
I’m not saying I’m quitting my goal, I’m just saying this may take a while. He is an executive and doesn’t even think of himself as “happy”. So who knows, maybe if I keep asking, he will ☺
4) He has a friend in Philly that he likes to talk to on the phone every once in a while. When he gets off the phone with Frank, he’s always happy.
3) It makes him happy when I am happy…(not always, but he likes to make me happy and he likes to see me happy)...It makes him happy. You know? :)
2) He loves his music and a tight horn section makes him especially happy. We went to see Maynard Fergison at Jazz Alley a couple months before he died and my husband has said several times how happy he is that we saw him that last time.
