When I write papers, I often use the Microsoft Word Thesaurus to make my writing sound more expressive. Sometimes, I make up words and then just go from there. I know what I want to say, but just can’t find the word to explain it so I use the thesaurus. Each time I use the thesaurus, I’m learning and retaining new vocabulary because I’m actually applying them to my writing.
