Just found out I’ve got to run a mile in 8.5 minutes and a 40 yd dash in 8 sec by the end of March 2006. These are the new fitness requirements for my job.
Not afraid of the mile, but the time limit stesses me out some. Currently I have to run a half mile in 4 minutes 40 seconds and the 40 yd dash in 8.5 sec. Not a huge stretch, but just enough to add another stress knot in the ol’ shoulders.
Well, I’m done traveling for a bit, so it’s back to running. :\
