Keep Track of All the Movies I Watch in 2007

What a wonderful movie.. no bad language or scenes I didn’t want my daughter to see… what a refreshing change from a lot of the movies out there these days! It was a light, funny movie that we really enjoyed.. A definite rental!

with Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac. I loved this movie. It is such a great story (inspired by true events) about how a schoolteacher, against all odds, changes a group of young men and an entire community through his dreams and persaverence.
It is rated PG, but I was surprised at some of the language. I would rate it a “must see”.

A nice movie about love,loss and family. Fairly predictable, but also very touching and leaves you feeling good in the end. The main actor is so cute and Catherine Zeta Jones does a great job portraying her character. Abigail Breslin (from Little Miss Sunshine) has another great performance. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

I think I was expecting something different and when I was surprised by it, I didn’t look much further for the redeeming points of the movie… there were some good things that came out of it, as you mentioned.

Why oh why did I think it was a good idea to see this movie? I didn’t think it was funny at all, although the reviews I read were good. I think I laughed once during the movie. I found it to be crude and not a movie I would recommend.

Hopefully the message of this movie “CLICKS” with everyone who watches it. What a wonderful lesson about life and relationships and how important it is to embrace and be present for every moment of our lives.

With Kevin Costner… I love him.. pretty good movie about anger and resentment and how those emotions affects your life and relationships. Funny in parts. Might have been disappointed if I paid full price, but it was a good rental.

Good movie with Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Costner.. about Coast Guard Rescue swimmers and what it takes to make it to the elite group of graduates. I don’t think I would make it past the first day!! :)
These swimmers have to make life and death decisions on every mission. Good movie that brings out the appreciation for what these men and women go through to save lives.

Great movie with a great ending… embraces family, individuality, determination, support … a winner.. and funny too!

Went to see Dream Girls last night with a friend.. It was a really good movie.. full of great singing and acting. Jennifer Hudson did an amazing job! It was a long movie (2hours), but with the comfy seats and fresh popcorn, it was a great outing.
