This is going great 2 years ago

I have been getting SOMETHING done every day as far as excersize. I am feeling so much better and have actually lost close to 3 lbs since April. Whoo Hoo!

This goal is going really well. I’ve lost almost 3 lbs and i’ve really been motivated to work out- even when i’m staying away from home i’ve been taking walks and taking care of myself physically!



Morning Walk 2 years ago

For the first time in probably 3 years, I got up this morning at 5:30am and went for a walk with my fiancee- then got ready for work. I FEEL SO GOOD! I have excersized every day this week!!

My Fiancee and I went for a run on Saturday. We decided to take it slow and ended up running about 1/2 an hour (which is more than i’ve ever ran at one time). I’m really interested in taking on a 5k this summer, so i’ve got to get myself together! I’m starting to love to run- so thats a good thing.



Change of Direction 2 years ago

So, I moved this goal from Go to the gym to Exercise daily. I think this is more realistic, considering that I don’t have the time or resources to go to the gym everyday, but I can run at work or take a 15 minute walk.



Still no Gym 2 years ago

Again, i’ve avoided trips to the gym, but I have continued working out on my lunch breaks and actually went for a full run last night with the dog i’m dog-sitting. It felt SO good and i’m so sore today I can barely move!! It feels good to actually get my lungs working!



Not so much.. 2 years ago

SO I really haven’t gotten to the gym since making this goal, however, I have started walking on my lunch breaks at work. I also found a free online Yoga class that i’ve been doing. The classes are an hour long and contain some great yoga moves. I guess i’m not doing great, but i’m doing better!

Does anyone have any tricks for motivating yourself to go to the gym? I’m having a terrible time getting there! It seems I can always talk myself out of going! How do you get yourself off the couch and into the gym???



Its not all about going to the gym 2 years ago

I did a 30 minute walk on my lunch break, which i’m going to count as going to the gym, that way I can just mark today off. I know my fiancee is going to want me to go to the gym with him tonight too- so I might just do it- twice a day is great!
