So, this should be simple. But… I have had a business that I closed and I still have stuff. We are running another small business out of our house and it has inventory. Our parents are downsizing – with some stuff to our home – both my parents and my wife’s parents. And, we want to feel organized and sane.
So, I have this need to sort things. Keep or not. Need access to quickly or infrequently.
I don’t want to over-think this. I need to make some progress.
The storage shed was a big help and opened up some space in the garage to work.
This past week I moved our washer & dryer out of the house and to the garage so we could receive the washer & dryer from my inlaws. Got the “new ones” installed and we donated the old ones.
My wife deserves the credit for getting this organized. She called around to see where we could donate and arranged for the pickup. Done – Thanks, Sweetie!!
We’ve made room for some furniture.
My business stuff is a big issue. I have computers, a trade show booth, boxes of records. Blah, blah, blah. And it’s been hard for me to let go of owning my own business. So, I need to get more in gear.
One of my favorite concepts has always been – what is the next step. So, I need to take my own medicine and get moving on these things.
