in the flashlight’s light beam there were thousands of tiny water droplets swimming like pieces of alga in clear water. The eyes adapted slowly to the world in which the light came from nowhere and all the directions at the same time. We sat at the beach right close to the waterline in a darkness in which one talks about the beginning of the universe. In front of us expanded a misty view filled with grey and white light, the edge of the world, like a critical error in vision, or sandblasted glass, and the black shape of the dock stretched out towards emptiness.

There’s a very nice little coffee house near our school and some friends and I often go there to have a (few) cup(s) of coffee and apple pie. Sometimes, when there are no other customers I play the piano in the corner of the room. The atmosphere is stunning. Then I have another cup of tea.

We were watching a good play at a small theatre, and at the pause we sat on a second-hand sofa. It was pretty small and we sat quite thightly there, a little bit tired and still in the play’s world. We chatted about nice things and leaned towards each other’s shoulders. Very peaceful and nice people.
