I am truly trying here. See, my group of friends all decided to stop talking to me completely a few months ago. It was fairly devastating. Now, one of them is talking to me again. And I keep finding girls on my floor and asking them to go to dinner, etc. If I see a door open, you better believe I’m walking in. This weekend wasn’t bad: I played Apples to Apples and watched Mean Girls with some people I’d just met two floors above me, and last night I hung around and played cards with a friend who is talking to me again and a girl on my floor. Sometimes though, it feels like everyone already has their established group of friends and don’t really care for additions. But it matters that I’m here, and I’m trying. So now I have to go find some people to watch the Super Bowl with.
