Tomorrow we are going to take a helicopter around Maui.
A climb up DiamondHead is on the agenda before we leave the isles
what a great climb this was. overlooking the dead sea in a place loaded with history . I was given a rams horn to blow at the top of the mount which echoed in the canyon surrounding Masada. This horn which is meant to stir the soul will now be blown at the top of every summit. Onward and Upward.
we actually drove to the top, not quite to the summit. It was getting dark and we did not actually climb. however this is a fantastic peak i hope to return to conquer some day.
The most recent summit. The top of tibidabo In Barcelona. Two train a bus a funicular elevator and steps led to the foot of Christ.. Literally. The very top of the basillico @ tibidabo gave us breath taking 360 degree
views of barcellona freezing temperature and very strong winds were part of the bargain. onward and upward!
The next scheduled climb is Mt Junipero Serra near Big Sur.
5,900 ft. currently have 4 climbers committed to go up

The crew was Lee shrieter, scott hamilton, joe ciotti and I. Up and down in 6 hours. No visibilty at the top , great views most of the way up. 4343 ft. now im looking for 5000+ for next climb. Onward and Upward!
I have ticket to Nairobi Kenya for 12/21/09! . It is a one hour flight from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro. My amigo Dave Knoll has committed to the climb and has his ticket as well. Flight tickets are a big step closer, it is for real now!
The next summit is Mt Helena. At 4343 ft rising from the Napa valley this climb leads to a view of Mt Shasta and with binoculars downtown San Francisco. this summit should be reached within 10 days.
Onward and Upward!
Lee and I left from elephant rock at 9:02am , climbed the rock city trail through the trail of time and on up the the summit trail. we reached the summit @ 12:25pm. There was no view the entire climb. The fog was very thick and it was windy and cold at the top. On the way down we dropped below the fog and clouds and the views were spectacular. 12 mile round trip 3849 ft Summit made for a long and tiring day. Onward and Upward!
By this time tomorrow we hope to have Mt Diablo knocked off the list. I will be climbing with Lee Schrieter.
Since the last entry i have added a Camelbak backpack and a Northface tri-weather high tech alpine climbing jacket to my equipment. I am in the process of searching for just the right
mini camcorder to document the year of the climb. to date i have mostly still shots of the climbs. I also spent a week in Orlando Florida, no mountains there. Onward and Upward!
