I weighed myself today and I gained a pound quitting smoking this week. My “weigh-in day” isn’t until Thursday, so maybe that pound will go by the wayside by then. Anyway, I quit smoking! Which I’m sure is worth a pound (or 20), but I’m still working on not gaining during this process.

Okay so I’m doing a pretty good job of losing 1-2 pounds a week—I only have 18 to go ‘til I meet my goal for 2007. BUT, I also just quit smoking, which is GREAT!! I’m on day 2.5 and I’m really hanging in, it’s going well. I haven’t changed my eating at all or been going on crazy binges. I do have a massive craving for sugary juice which I’ve indulged once or twice, but we’ll see!! My weigh-in day is Thursday and I was 128 last week. All I’m asking of myself this week is to stay at 128. I think I can do it. Plus not smoking REALLY makes me want to exercise, so that’ll probably help.
Oh, yay. I was hoping to lose 1 pound this week and I lost 3, I think a lot of it is trying to walk around when it’s like 30 degrees below zero, drinking more water, no cheese on my Subway sandwich—I think the little things are helping. So, 5 down, 18 to go for now!
Starting out 133 lbs. I’m only 5’1”, so I think 100 is a pretty reasonable goal, although 33 pounds does sound like a lot of wieght. We’ll see!
