1. Find your glasses before you take out your contacts.
2. Wash new towels before you use them.
3. Notice things in a potential place of residence such as quality of appliances, cracks in ceiling/by the windows, functioning locks.
4. Be up-front and clear with future roommates about what is and is not acceptable social behavior and the division of chores.
5. Remember to call those old friends that you aren’t sure you have anything in common with…because maybe, you do!
