survive law school

finals are hard.

i know i’m smart, but, jesus, why does everyone else here also have to be so smart?

one down, two to go. i also made slightly below the median on my first legal writing memo. SO THERE WE HAVE IT. survival update. i’m survivin’.

I am, in fact, surviving.

Thus far.

passed rather uneventfully. Day one of full classes, that is; all last week was orientation, as well as the legal writing classes (which are special and for some reason start a week early?).

I didn’t really get picked on [yet]. I know it will happen. I am learning pretty quickly (or, quicker than I expected) how to read cases for pertinent information… but I expect it will take a while before I’m confident in it. Or maybe it won’t. But… expect the worst, hope for the best, right? Is that really possible? That’s another philosophy issue I don’t have the brainpower to unwind at the moment.

Regardless, at least the people I have met are fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Just three more years. :) Yay!
