accept and receive willingly

I met my soulmate years ago (38) and spent a long time trying to prove he was not the one (35 years apart) because we were too young- I at 17 he at 21 – now, here we are – we went our separate ways and ended up together after little to no contact for too many years. It truly is more blessed to receive than give because it takes more grace and peace. It has taken this long because of arrogance and pride…and now I find myself on my knees humbled by the gift of a soulmate. So, do not pray for a soulmate, pray instead for the acceptance of the soulmate you are given.
