i’m completely unimpressed with myself.
there is so little “Savings” in my Savings Account, right now.
i keep spending it.
partially in my defense: it is because i haven’t received paychecks from my other job for almost two months. i’ve worked! but no checks, yet.
it this complicated mess, since they are buying my articles via purchase orders.ech!
so i wait.
and spend what i wanted to be saving.
and then it got cold!
but i don’t want to mis out on my Cardio workout.
so i invested in some UnderArmour.
which is not free.
head to ankle
(i already had some New Balance)
i DO hope i’m nearly done spending and the savings can begin.
dang holiday season approaches.
i hope my friends will be satisfied receiving just my love and affection, this year.

when i quite a lot of addictions silmultaneously and cold turkey, i tried to make it easier for my OCD self by trading my bottle for my thumb, so to speak.
i allowed myself to have something that i would buy that was basically a waste of money, but at least not unhealthy.
so i suckled on Fiji.
and now i’ve quit smoking and some others and it’s been past the twice 30 day mark, so i believe it’s been beat. and it would now be a conscious decision if i took it up again.
so…goodbye officially to cigarettes and various other not-goodies.
and hello to spending less money!!

Considering i am currently seeking employment(being a lack thereof in my life) this goal ia a temporary impossibility. For, technically, all money i have now is saved. I’m sure i’ll manage a balance. Currently, my spending is nonexistent.
But i’m supposed to take a drive today with my brother and meet my potential future boss. he’s like this local entrepreneur. He’s starting up a cafe/general store/internet gathering thing. This could definitely work. i know my way around an espresso machine…

I’m doing pretty well on the save v. spend saga, for now. I went to target with friends Brett and Jess today and searched the entire store, finding nothing i wanted. We checked out the funny t-shirts in both the mens and juniors department. I found a totally cute, just my size Gir (from Invader Zim) tshirt in the most gorgeous shade of grey. And only $9.99! I got frustrated trying to determine whether or not to buy it and opted not. Yay!
Then we went to Kohl’s hunting for a purse and checking out more funny t-shirts along the way. The purse wasn’t a dire need, but was indeed something i would label a need. i have outgrown my purse (for reasons extensive and varied) and was in need of a larger one. Amazingly they were having a buy one get one for $1 sale, so i actually managed to find a reasonably priced purse that i liked and bought Jess a matching one for just a dollar more (we have simmilar OCD-esque purse needs). Not so yay?

I have a new spending rule: i can only purchase my pile of manga on the employee hold shelf once most (i’m saying “most” so i can actually do this) of my unread manga is read. Let’s say i have to read the manga in the series where there are still many already avaiable i have not yet purchased. I can still hoard the completed series Kodocha and Paradise Kiss and the new series Negima, if i can hold out.
Also, when i get my paychecks, i am automatically penciling aside rainyday savings dinero, just in case and to prove to myself i can spend.
This month will be a ruined “spend less, save more” month, however because i get my tax returns and also it is the last month for while i will have internet access. So i have to buy those rare Japanese films on ebay. But i will be saving more than usual…working on it.
