I should move into this category if I lose 7 pounds. I’m currently in the acceptable range but want to be in fitness and eventually the “athlete” level.
These are the body fat% categories:
Description Women Men
Essential fat 10–13% 2–5%
Athletes 14–20% 6–13%
Fitness 21–24% 14–17%
Average 25–31% 18–24%
Obese 32%+ 25%+
I’m in the average category. A few years back I was in Fitness and heading towards Athlete. I want to get my body fat % back into Fitness.
