I’m almost there!
In the fall of 2009 I decided to get my teacher training for Ashtanga yoga. It was a grueling four month process but I passed and am now a part time yoga instructor. I also teach dance. My life is so much more physically active than it was when I added this goal and I love it.
I still have days where I do no physical activity, but most days I work out and teach some form of movement.
Yay!

but with summer finally here in Chicago, I’m actually doing it. I joined a gym finally a month and a half ago, have been seeing a personal trainer once a week and am working on my diet.
I find eating is the hardest part. If I’m not around healthy food that is easy, then I automatically grab a bag of chips, but I’m getting better.
I’m going to Mexico at the end of July, so I’m trying to bust my ass (literally) with that end in mind. I don’t want to be a rail, but the belly pudge and the the ginormous thighs gotta go.

I must admit, I have NOT been working on this at all.
Plus, I started working in an office as opposed to my former job which required a lot of physical effort.
I have however started taking a modern dance class, which I pretty intense and inspires me to stretch and practice on my days off.
Hopefully I’ll care more about this as it is getting warmer.
