Took a home test this morning and it was positive. Hubby and I were so excited! I am planning to make a doctor’s appointment this afternoon to confirm. For now… yay!

Had first visit

with my OB/GYN. Love her! She made me feel very comfortable. This was a pre-pregnancy evaluation/consultation, so we chatted a bit and she answered some of my questions. Wow… it’s amazing to me that we (hubby and I) are taking this step forward and starting to make this possibility a reality. Already it’s a interesting and emotionally complex process, but I am just letting myself feel the emotions as they arise.

I don’t have concrete expectations about all this either. I realize there is only so much we can do on our end and the rest is just out of our control.
