really really thinking ahead here 18 months ago

Considering growing green beans in my container(s) garden this year, just expressly so I could pickle them. Of course, if I do that, I should plant a very small pot of dill as well – and maybe some garlic…

I’d love to do this with okra, but there’s no way I could maintain enough individual plants in containers to have a sufficient crop at one time for pickling purposes.

Summer’s all but over. If I’m going to make pickles of some kind, I need to get on it – or set this aside until next year.
