Identify and Rid Myself of 43 Items of clutter

I’m excited. I don’t ever plan to put this on my list again, though. I think I’ve gotten rid of a whole lot…that’s not to say I couldn’t still do better, but that’s what my “get rid of all my clutter” goal is all about. Again I must thank DJ for making me look at my stuff realistically. :D

43T Goals and Entries.
I know that Des will kill me for this one because of the cheer number, but there were some things that are on my list that are a bit too personal for me to have on there. More of my “real life” friends are aware of this site, and if they put two and two together to find out who I am here and see some things, they might be upset or I would be uncomfortable about them knowing some stuff I’ve had on here.

Freezer items. I went through my freezer yesterday and looked at what I had and tossed several things.

One more item to go, and I’m done with this as an active goal for good. :)

Television channels. I went through my channel list last week and deleted every channel I don’t watch/enjoy off of my channel lineup on my television. Now when I flip channels, it will go to the next one I actually watch, not through three I don’t care about.

Refrigerator items. Last week I went through my refrigerator and discarded stuff that needed to be thrown away. I do this partially consistently, but I went through everything in my containers that was stored. Surprisingly I knew what to get this week for groceries because of being able to see what I really needed to get. :)

is going to be my purse. I hate purses! I hate purse shopping even more, so I’ve been putting this item off. One of my friends (who must be psychic ;) because she doesn’t see me but about 1 to 2 times a year) gave me one for Christmas yesterday. :D So, as soon as I find something to put the rest of the stuff into, I’m going to be getting rid of the old purse.

I’ve been really struggling with my skin and scalp being really irritated the past several months to year or more. I’ve recently been trying out being more organic, and have tried this organic shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. Call it evidence, psychological effect or whatever, but things are significantly better when I use them. So, I’ve rounded up all my shampoos and one conditioner and one shower gel (I really have been doing fairly well about not overbuying these thanks to a previous goal of buying only necessary things). I’m going to give them to my adopted sister for her use. (It’s really bad, though, because one of the shampoos was bought to replace one of the ones that was low.) I think I’ve done this category before, but I think this round of decluttering that category should count because it is a very expensive round. :-/

I’ve used up all my Christmas cards that have built up over the years. I used to be someone who had to send everyone the same card, so I had a lot that were left over from years past. They’ve been taken care of this year. :)

Good grief there are still 6 things left for me to complete this goal a second time. I hope that this will be accomplished before the end of next month.

silverware organizer

I got some additional silverware lately and it came with its own organizer. The new one is much less space consuming, so the bulky one gets tossed.

• One set of coasters
• waterbottles
• bakeware

Office clutter! I’ve been getting rid of stuff right and left. It may not have been mine to begin with, but the chick that was here before me was here 4 years! So, I’m considering it all Überclutter! IT affects my life, so it counts.
