update my resume

not being necessary. I should go ahead and do this soon. I want to check off a few more goals before I work on this one, though.

Goal definition:
I can check this off when I’ve completed an expanded resume, a general resume, specialized area 1 resume, and specialized area 2 resume.

This may become a personal challenge.

I recently got a permanent position that will begin Aug. 1. I will have this temporary job, and the one to begin to add to it.

since I’m working at a new job and my phone number has changed.

While I’m at it, I really need to create a few different versions of it. A good friend of mine had suggested I do that months ago, and I still haven’t done it.

Thanks to Robbie and Chicago Outfit, who provided extra motivation for me to get this done, I’ve gotten this done and e-mailed it to my friend who needs it. This will also save much needed steps when I go to send it off this winter if the need arises.

But, I’ve been mentally brain-dead from working late hours this week. Everyone who reads this entry who wants to help me with this goal: if I haven’t posted I’ve accomplished this goal by Friday, Aug. 12…hound me until I get it done!

What point-size is too small?

How long ago is too far back at this point (I’m 28)?

I’d told a friend that I’d send her a copy a couple of weeks ago, but I really forgot about it until now. I need to do this by 8/4, and also I need to update my on-line resume by the end of August. It’s never too early to do these things, and may prove to be wise.
