Get a new job as quickly as possible.

about this goal! It’s a physician’s assistant job that isn’t permanent but will give me four or five month’s work. I’ll start on the 26th! :D Yea!!!

another resume off this week. Plan to spend more time on this goal in the coming week.

I have sent off two more resumes to leads I found yesterday. I still need to rework my resume, though. It will have to wait until tomorrow, though. I also need to check into some more web stuff tomorrow. I also need to go and do a test tomorrow at the employment placement place that I went to on Friday. I’m telling you all this so I’ll have to be accountable tomorrow for what I do.

I went by a local agency that deals with employment placements and got into their system. I’m supposed to go take some tests on Monday. And, also I talked with a friend of mine about my resume to see if he had any suggestions. He was helpful and suggested I should create a couple of more versions of my resume to highlight different areas of experience. I’ll be working on that for the next few days.

I found out about a lead and have sent in my resume and references along with a cover letter e-mail today.

I made some revisions to my resume and e-mailed it to a potential employer.

but, I’m getting indications that not waiting for the other opportunity is best at this time. I have a lead for another job, so I need to get the cover letter and resume off tonight after I get in from the Christmas party I’m attending. So, I hope one of my subscribers sees this and will remind me about it. (I’ve had a lot of stress lately and my memory’s been less than stellar.) So, that’s tonight’s goal.

today. She said that an internal person had applied for the position, but she’s still interested in me working for her. She said that she anticipated a position being open around the first of the year. So, now I have to decide whether I’m waiting for that or continue to look.

I had my interview this morning reallllllly early! I was supposed to have it yesterday, but unforeseen circumstances made it to where she couldn’t meet with me. So, this morning she said that she wanted to bring me back for a second interview. So far, so good.
