So my usual work pants had gotten to the point that they were so big I couldnt even put keys in my pocket because they would weigh my pants down and make them slip down.
So I finally decided to go get some more pants (i hate trying on pants). Well I really wanted a pair of gray dress pants but the only ones they had were size 11. I decided to try them anyway….and they fit!!! I was so friggin happy! When I first bought my size 15 dress pants around christmas last year they were a little snug and now I can comfortably wear a size 11. Yay me!! =)

Yesterday at work I realized my favorite brown pants were getting too big. So this morning I decided to try on this pair of pants that I loved but they’ve always been to snug on me (i.e. muffin top) so I hardly ever wore them. Well to my surprise they fit! I wouldnt wear anything snug with them yet but they fit well enough that I could wear a fairly fitted shirt and not worry about muffin top, lol. Im super excited!

So the last time I weighed myself (about 2-3 months ago) I was at 191 lbs and i wore a size 14/15. I just weighed myself today and I’ve lost 11 lbs!!!
And now my size 12 jeans fit again!!! woo hoo!

So I have made some progress with this goal since I posted 11months ago. However I will be 21 next week and since I will be going out I would like to feel confident and comfortable with my body.
I have so many things that I would like to do and I feel like my weight is holding me back. Once I get down to a size Im happy with (like 8 or 10) I know it will be easier for me to buy the clothes that I really want to wear, get the tattoos that I want, feel more confident when Im performing in front of an audience, and I would be able to better execute certain dance moves and they would have more impact.
Im planning on starting the slim-fast plan on friday. I think this will be good for me because I dont have time to plan meals and eat several small meals a day, and this way I’ll be able to keep track of my calories with out measuring food and portions. I feel really good about this plan and Im hoping it will work for me.

Ok so, even though I get compliments on my figure and whatnot, I know Im not really healthy. I’m in fairly good shape because Im constantly staying active (gym 3-4 days a week, dance classes twice a week, practicing, drilling, etc) but my eating habits suck. The breakroom at my job looks like its run by unsupervised toddlers with credit cards (5 different kinds of oreos, chips, popcorn, soda, candy, etc). I know that if I could get my poor eating habits under control in conjunction with my workouts I would lose quite a bit of weight. So thats my goal, I want to be in shape…not skinny, not thin, just healthy.
