I actually received an offer letter in August and accepted my place in late September. Ever since, I’ve been preparing to move to the city where my medical education will begin. It turns out that city is located in Australia ! :) I’m extremely excited to begin my journey this January!

It’s interview season. The game is on.
Got my MCAT score back and I’m going for it! I submitted 22 secondaries by Oct. 1. I’ve got 10 more I’m going to try to get in by Oct. 7. I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to submit those 10 since it’s so late….
I literally just submitted my AMCAS application!!!!!!!! Wish me luck (and pray I get into a nyc school)!!!!
I did my premeds during undergrad, but I’ve been out for a bit. I wanted to get my brain back in gear, show that I’m serious and interested in pursuing my career switch to medicine, and improve the GPA that will be evaluated to determine my admission to medical school so I applied to the BU MAMS program. I got in last spring and began the program this fall. I’m nearing the end of the first semester. It’s basically the first year of medical school that I’m in the midst of right now, so it’s pretty stressful. I hope my GPA coming out of this program will prove to the medical school admissions committees that I’m capable and worthy of admission! I’ll let you know how finals go in a few short weeks… :)
